Day 1. Departure from Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Pick up From your Hotel, early in the morning you will be picked by one of our driver guide who will take you through briefing about your entire tour. Thereafter, set off to Nyungwe Forest National Park about 268 kilometers which is approximately six hours past stunning landscapes of the southern Rwanda. On way, set off to Nyanza palace that is a royal home to the 2 kings of Rwanda-King Musinga and his successor King Rudahigwa. We may also have a stopover at Butare south of Rwanda to explore the ethnographic museum that features as the largest museum in Rwanda comprising of more than 100000 artifacts which entail more about the traditions and history of Rwanda. Later, at 3:00pm you experience the Nyungwe Canopy walk Adventure.Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 2. Chimpanzee trekking/Waterfalls in Nyungwe National Park
In early morning, you go for chimpanzee trekking or Kamiranzovu Waterfalls. Chimpanzee trekking at this park usually takes about 2 to 5 hours and only an hour is given to you to have a face to face encounter with these fascinating primates, explore their behavior and later after lunch drive to Kivu Lake for a sun seat boat cruise from Karongi Rubavu( 2-3hours).During the cruise you will have the chance to see a variety of birdlife and different water animals on the lake shore. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 3. Transfer back to Kigali
After breakfast you will take off for a morning relaxation on Lake Kivu. We take you to the Fishing and Hot Springs Experience. Later then. You are transferred back to Kigali and on way back we stop over in Musanze for lunch at the Hotel before proceeding in the afternoon to the Community Based Activities around volcanoes park .These activities provide interaction with the local village people and includes activities you can take part in such as talking with ex-poachers, learning about culture, marginalized people, agriculture, traditional healing and nature walks. After experiences you are transferred to Kigali at your Hotel.
